Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Analyst to join our Renewable Energy practice, specializing in Sustainable Fuels across multiple sectors. This position entails data collection and analysis, market trend tracking, and delivering insightful research to support strategic consulting initiatives. The role involves working on projects within the sustainable fuels landscape, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Green Methanol, Low-Carbon Intensity Ethanol, Biodiesel, Renewable Diesel/HVO, Biogas/Biomethane, and Hydrogen/Ammonia.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate data related to sustainable fuels, focusing on market expansion, policy changes, alternative fuels, and competitor activity on both national and regional scales.

  • Develop forecasts and models for supply-demand dynamics, production capacity, feedstock distribution, support policies, and tariffs across various regions and countries.

  • Enhance efficiency by streamlining data collection and management processes.

  • Contribute analytical and market insights to strategic consulting projects.

  • Produce in-depth written analyses on market and policy trends, delivering information through reports, memos, presentations, and Excel documents for both internal and client use.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Science or Economics

  • Minimum 3 years experience in an analyst or research role, ideally within the energy sectors.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and additional language is a plus.

  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

  • Skilled in utilizing advanced AI tools for research

  • Strong interest and enthusiasm for the transport and energy industries.

  • Knowledge of transport industry trends, foundational technologies, and regulatory landscapes is a plus.
