Our client is a new global think tank within the green fuels industry committed to decarbonizing the hard-to-abate transportation sector. It functions as a key center for strategic research and discussions, utilizing a network of global members, industry sponsors and policy makers to advance sector innovation and shape policy development.
They are looking for a Program and Partnership Manager to lead market expansion, provide industry guidance, and drive global capacity-building initiatives in the green fuels sector. Together with the Managing Director, the incumbent plays a crucial role in helping the organisation drive market growth and adoption of green fuels, lead stakeholder engagement and educational programs as well as contribute to long-term strategic initiatives aligned with industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Development:
Strategic Networking: Forge and maintain influential relationships with industry leaders and key stakeholders to position the organization as a leader in green fuel adoption.
Market Strategy Execution: Develop and implement a forward-thinking market development strategy that drives the widespread adoption of green fuels across challenging sectors.
Opportunity Seizure: Identify emerging market opportunities and leverage them to enhance the adoption and integration of green fuels globally.
2. Technical Leadership:
Industry Standards: Define and advocate for technical standards that elevate industry acceptance and ensure the consistent integration of green fuels.
Capacity Building: Lead the creation and execution of training programs designed to strengthen the green fuel supply chain, from production to distribution.
3. Advocacy and Representation:
Global Representation: Act as the organization’s ambassador at international conferences, trade shows, and industry forums, influencing global green fuel adoption.
Thought Leadership: Deliver impactful speeches and participate in conferences to promote the organization’s vision and drive industry change.
4. Executive Support:
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Managing Director to execute strategic initiatives across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Operational Excellence: Take on key tasks that support the operational effectiveness of the organization, ensuring seamless execution of strategic objectives.
5. Global Impact:
International Engagement: Travel extensively to represent the organization, forge partnerships, and influence stakeholders on a global scale.

Desired Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Arts & Communications, Business or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of international business development experience, preferably within the fuels sector.
Proven success in driving business growth and technical sales.
Experience collaborating with oil companies, biofuels industry, automakers, and transportation OEMs.
Skills:
Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities.
Outstanding communication skills with a talent for customer relationship management.
Strategic and analytical thinking, with a knack for identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
Strong project management skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities.
Technical Knowledge (as a plus):
Deep understanding of fuels and their application across transportation sectors.
Familiarity with current and emerging fuel production technologies.
Other Requirements:

Willingness to travel extensively (over 50%) globally.
